Before installing a kitchen chimney, technicians inspect the surrounding workspace for cabinets, electrical outlets, gas pipelines and duct access points. Preparing the installation area allows measurements to be taken accurately while reducing unnecessary interruptions during mounting. Proper preparation also helps ensure that the finished installation remains neat, secure and accessible for future servicing.

As air travels through the exhaust duct, friction between the moving air and the duct surface creates resistance. Longer ducts, sharp bends and internal obstructions increase this resistance, reducing overall ventilation efficiency. Designing an exhaust route with smooth transitions and minimal restrictions helps maintain steady airflow from the kitchen to the outdoor outlet.
Expect to pay roughly ₹799–₹2499 for Hindware chimney install in Chetla Kalikapur. A minimum inspection fee of ₹350 applies if you decide not to proceed after the visit — this is adjusted against the final bill if you go ahead. You get a 90-day warranty on the install work itself — if something related to our service goes wrong, we come back and fix it at no extra charge.
Before switching on a Hindware chimney after installing, we test the electrical connection and confirm the ducting seal is airtight — not just that the fan spins.

The capture area is the invisible zone where smoke, steam and grease are collected before spreading into the kitchen. A properly installed chimney creates a controlled upward airflow that keeps contaminants moving toward the filters. The size of the capture area depends on chimney width, mounting height and blower performance. Maintaining clean filters and unobstructed airflow helps preserve efficient smoke collection during daily cooking.
