As a kitchen chimney exhausts smoke and cooking vapours outside, fresh air must enter the kitchen to replace the exhausted air. Without adequate replacement air, the blower may experience increased airflow resistance, reducing extraction efficiency. Natural ventilation through windows or dedicated ventilation openings helps maintain balanced airflow. Considering air replacement during installation contributes to more consistent smoke removal and improved indoor comfort.

Accurate installation involves more than simply attaching the chimney to the wall. Professional installers verify bracket alignment, wall strength, chimney level and mounting hardware before tightening all fasteners. Properly aligned installation distributes weight evenly across the support points, reducing unnecessary vibration while maintaining structural stability throughout years of operation.
Most Whirlpool installation jobs in Kalikapur land between ₹799 and ₹2499 — island chimneys and longer duct runs sit at the higher end, simple wall-mounted units at the lower end. All install work carries a 90-day SharkCool service warranty, covering workmanship on the job performed.
Safety checks — secure mounting, ducting seal, and electrical connection — are part of every install job, not an optional add-on.

After completing maintenance, technicians normally operate the chimney at different fan speeds to confirm that airflow has been restored and all components function correctly. Verifying airflow helps ensure that filters, blower, electrical controls and exhaust duct continue working together as a complete ventilation system before the service is finalized.
