The overall kitchen layout influences chimney performance. Cabinet placement, ceiling height, window position, and duct routing all affect airflow. During installation, technicians evaluate these factors to determine the most suitable mounting location. Proper planning helps improve smoke extraction and makes future maintenance more convenient.

Loose duct joints may allow smoke and grease particles to escape before reaching the outdoor exhaust. During installation, technicians inspect every duct connection and seal joints where required to minimize air leakage. Proper sealing supports consistent airflow, improves suction efficiency, and helps keep kitchen cabinets and ceilings cleaner over time.
