Long duct sections should be adequately supported to prevent sagging over time. Unsupported ducts may develop unnecessary bends that restrict airflow and increase vibration. During installation, technicians use appropriate supports wherever required to maintain a smooth airflow path from the chimney to the outdoor exhaust. Proper duct support also helps reduce stress on the chimney outlet connection.

Kitchen chimneys are relatively heavy appliances that remain suspended on wall brackets for many years. Different wall materials require different anchors and fixing methods. Proper assessment helps maintain structural stability, reduces vibration and supports safe long-term operation without placing unnecessary stress on the mounting hardware.
