Before approving a kitchen chimney installation, homeowners should ask about the recommended installation height, duct diameter, expected duct route, electrical requirements, mounting method, future maintenance access and warranty coverage for the installation work. Understanding these details helps set realistic expectations and ensures that the completed installation supports both performance and long-term serviceability. A few minutes of discussion before work begins often prevents unnecessary modifications after installation is complete.

A kitchen chimney should be installed perfectly level across its mounting surface. Even a small tilt may affect appearance, increase vibration, and place uneven stress on mounting brackets. Professional installers use measuring tools before drilling and again after mounting to confirm proper alignment. Correct leveling supports both structural stability and an attractive finished installation.
