Kitchen chimneys operate by creating lower air pressure inside the intake area than the surrounding kitchen. This pressure difference encourages smoke, steam and grease particles to move toward the filters instead of spreading across the room. Proper installation, clean filters and unrestricted ducting help maintain stable airflow and efficient smoke extraction during everyday cooking.

Ductless kitchen chimneys recirculate air back into the kitchen after passing it through grease and carbon filters. Unlike ducted models, they do not require an external exhaust pipe. Since air is filtered rather than expelled outside, replacing carbon filters according to the manufacturer's recommendations is important for maintaining odour control and overall performance.
Expect to pay roughly ₹799–₹2499 for Bosch chimney install in Santragachi Kalikapur. A minimum inspection fee of ₹350 applies if you decide not to proceed after the visit — this is adjusted against the final bill if you go ahead. You get a 90-day warranty on the install work itself — if something related to our service goes wrong, we come back and fix it at no extra charge.
Before switching on a Bosch chimney after installing, we test the electrical connection and confirm the ducting seal is airtight — not just that the fan spins.

Stable electrical power is essential for reliable chimney performance. During installation or servicing, technicians inspect the power socket, wiring condition, and switch operation before operating the appliance. Loose electrical connections or damaged cables should be corrected before regular use to support safe operation and reduce avoidable service issues.
