Some cooking odours can remain in the kitchen for a short period after cooking has finished because warm air continues circulating before complete ventilation occurs. Allowing the chimney to operate for several minutes after cooking helps remove remaining airborne odours and moisture while supporting improved indoor air quality.

Routine maintenance focuses on preserving unrestricted airflow throughout the ventilation system. Cleaning grease filters, wiping accessible surfaces and observing airflow performance help reduce gradual efficiency loss. Consistent maintenance supports reliable smoke removal while limiting grease accumulation inside the chimney and exhaust duct.
