During installation or servicing, technicians may check airflow at each speed to confirm normal operation. Verifying performance across all available settings helps ensure the fan responds correctly and provides adequate extraction when needed.

Flexible aluminium ducts are convenient during installation but should not be left hanging unsupported over long distances. Unsupported sections may sag, collect grease, or create unnecessary airflow resistance. Installers generally secure flexible ducts using suitable supports while avoiding sharp compression that could restrict airflow. Proper support helps maintain consistent extraction performance and simplifies future inspection.
