Kitchen chimneys are relatively heavy appliances that remain suspended on wall brackets for many years. Before drilling, installers inspect whether the wall is made from brick, reinforced concrete, hollow blocks or lightweight partition material. Different wall materials require different anchors and fixing methods. Proper assessment helps maintain structural stability, reduces vibration and supports safe long-term operation without placing unnecessary stress on the mounting hardware.

A kitchen chimney performs best when fresh replacement air can enter the room. Cross ventilation created by partially opening a window or allowing airflow from another room helps replace the air exhausted by the chimney. Balanced air movement improves smoke extraction efficiency and reduces the likelihood of cooking fumes remaining inside the kitchen during extended cooking sessions.

Kitchen chimneys are designed to operate within specified electrical conditions. Stable voltage helps motors, LED lighting and electronic controls function as intended. Significant voltage fluctuations may affect electrical components over time. Using appropriate electrical connections and following the manufacturer's installation recommendations supports dependable operation throughout the appliance's service life.
