Exhaust ducts should remain securely supported throughout their length to prevent movement while the chimney operates. Unsupported duct sections may vibrate as air passes through them, increasing operating noise and placing unnecessary stress on duct joints. Proper support helps maintain structural stability while preserving efficient airflow from the kitchen to the outdoor exhaust outlet.

The kitchen chimney blower is designed to operate under balanced airflow conditions. When filters remain clean and the exhaust duct is unobstructed, air moves freely through the system, allowing the blower to perform efficiently. Increased airflow resistance caused by grease or duct restrictions reduces extraction efficiency even if the motor continues operating normally.

Kitchen cabinets surrounding the chimney should provide enough clearance for installation and future servicing. Before mounting the appliance, technicians measure cabinet spacing to ensure the chimney fits comfortably without obstructing filter removal or maintenance access.
