Before drilling begins, technicians inspect the wall for hidden electrical wiring, plumbing lines, tile condition, and structural strength. This inspection helps determine the most suitable fixing points while reducing the risk of accidental damage. Choosing appropriate anchors based on the wall material supports long-term installation stability and allows the chimney to remain securely mounted during daily operation.

Most kitchen chimneys provide multiple fan speed settings to handle different cooking conditions. During installation or servicing, technicians may check airflow at each speed to confirm normal operation. Verifying performance across all available settings helps ensure the fan responds correctly and provides adequate extraction when needed.
