The capture zone is the area directly beneath the kitchen chimney where rising smoke, steam and grease particles are collected before spreading throughout the kitchen. A properly sized chimney positioned at the recommended height creates a wider and more effective capture zone. Cooking habits, cookware size and surrounding airflow also influence capture efficiency. Maintaining clean filters and proper airflow helps preserve the effectiveness of this capture area during everyday cooking.
Inspection of grease build-up and filter condition

Auto-clean function check (if applicable)
Filter refitting and suction test
Final wipe-down and odour check
A kitchen chimney performs best when every part of the ventilation system works together efficiently. Correct installation establishes proper airflow, clean filters maintain low resistance, well-designed ducting supports smooth exhaust movement and regular inspections preserve reliable operation. Treating the chimney as an integrated ventilation system rather than an individual appliance helps maintain cleaner kitchens, effective smoke removal and dependable long-term performance.
Most Glen cleaning jobs in Chetla land between ₹499 and ₹1499 — island chimneys and longer duct runs sit at the higher end, simple wall-mounted units at the lower end. You get a 90-day warranty on the clean work itself — if something related to our service goes wrong, we come back and fix it at no extra charge.
Safety checks — secure mounting, ducting seal, and electrical connection — are part of every clean job, not an optional add-on.

Each cooking session leaves a small amount of grease on the filter surface. Over time these deposits gradually build into thicker layers that reduce airflow. Because this process is gradual, homeowners may not immediately notice changes in chimney performance. Regular inspection and cleaning restore airflow while helping maintain efficient smoke extraction throughout the ventilation system.
