Metal grease filters gradually collect oil and cooking residue during normal use. Regular cleaning helps maintain airflow and supports efficient smoke extraction. Depending on the filter design, cleaning may involve warm water, mild detergent, or manufacturer-approved methods. Excessive grease buildup can reduce suction performance over time.
Inspection of grease build-up and filter condition
Baffle/mesh filter removal and deep degreasing
Motor housing and duct-mouth cleaning
Auto-clean function check (if applicable)
Filter refitting and suction test
Final wipe-down and odour check
A properly maintained kitchen chimney helps reduce the amount of grease that settles on nearby cabinets, walls, and ceilings. Regular cleaning of filters and internal components supports effective smoke extraction, helping maintain a cleaner cooking environment and reducing the frequency of deep kitchen cleaning.
Expect to pay roughly ₹499–₹1499 for Inalsa chimney clean in Kalighat. Over long periods of use, vibration may gradually loosen certain mounting screws or brackets. During routine maintenance, technicians inspect visible fasteners and tighten them where necessary according to manufacturer guidelines. This simple inspection helps maintain installation stability and reduces unnecessary operating vibration.
