Why Fresh Air Improves Chimney Performance
A kitchen chimney removes cooking fumes more effectively when fresh air is able to enter the room. Kitchens that remain completely sealed may experience reduced airflow efficiency. Maintaining balanced ventilation supports better smoke extraction and improves overall cooking comfort.

Why Airflow Testing Is Important
After installation or servicing, technicians often perform an airflow test to confirm that smoke can move freely through the duct system. Stable airflow indicates that filters, ducting, and the motor are working together correctly. Any unexpected restriction identified during testing can be corrected before the service visit is completed.

Inspecting the Wall Before Drilling
Before drilling begins, technicians inspect the wall for hidden electrical wiring, plumbing lines, tile condition, and structural strength. This inspection helps determine the most suitable fixing points while reducing the risk of accidental damage. Choosing appropriate anchors based on the wall material supports long-term installation stability and allows the chimney to remain securely mounted during daily operation.
