The exhaust duct carries smoke, moisture and cooking odours from the chimney to the outdoor environment. A direct duct route with secure joints and minimal restrictions allows air to move more efficiently. Proper routing reduces unnecessary airflow resistance while helping maintain consistent ventilation performance during everyday cooking.
