Long vertical exhaust ducts should be securely supported throughout their length to prevent movement and vibration. Proper supports reduce stress on duct joints while helping maintain a straight airflow path. Well-supported ducting also minimizes noise caused by vibration during blower operation and contributes to reliable long-term ventilation performance.

Technicians inspect filters, blower operation, duct connections, mounting stability, electrical controls and overall airflow before completing maintenance. Comprehensive inspection helps maintain reliable smoke extraction and supports consistent long-term performance.

The outdoor exhaust outlet is the final stage of the kitchen ventilation system. A properly installed outlet allows cooking fumes to leave the duct efficiently while reducing unnecessary airflow resistance. Technicians inspect the outlet position, surrounding clearance and airflow direction during installation to help maintain reliable ventilation under normal operating conditions.
