Professional kitchen chimney installation begins long before the first hole is drilled. Installers measure the cooktop width, verify the chimney model dimensions, inspect wall strength, identify concealed electrical wiring or plumbing, and plan the shortest practical duct route. They also confirm that maintenance access will remain available after installation. Careful planning helps reduce unnecessary wall damage, avoids repositioning later, and supports efficient smoke extraction from the beginning. A structured installation process generally produces cleaner workmanship and simplifies future servicing.

Professional installers first verify that the installation wall is flat and structurally suitable before fixing mounting brackets. Uneven wall surfaces may create gaps between the chimney body and the wall, affecting appearance and potentially increasing vibration during operation. Measuring alignment before drilling allows minor corrections to be made without affecting the final installation. Proper wall preparation also helps distribute the appliance weight evenly across all mounting points.
