As air travels through the exhaust duct, friction between the moving air and the duct surface creates resistance. Longer ducts, sharp bends and internal obstructions increase this resistance, reducing overall ventilation efficiency. Designing an exhaust route with smooth transitions and minimal restrictions helps maintain steady airflow from the kitchen to the outdoor outlet.

Balanced airflow reduces unnecessary strain on the blower while helping maintain steady smoke extraction. When filters remain clean and ducting stays unobstructed, internal components operate under more stable conditions. Preventive maintenance supports efficient airflow throughout the ventilation system and contributes to dependable long-term operation.

Before installing a kitchen chimney, technicians inspect the mounting wall to ensure it provides a stable and reasonably level surface. Uneven walls may require adjustments to achieve proper alignment of the appliance. Careful inspection before drilling helps support secure installation while maintaining a professional appearance and reducing unnecessary vibration during operation.
