A kitchen chimney is designed to remove more than visible smoke. During cooking, the appliance also extracts steam, airborne grease particles, cooking odours and excess heat. By continuously moving contaminated air toward the exhaust system, the chimney helps improve kitchen comfort while reducing grease accumulation on nearby surfaces. Proper installation and routine maintenance help maintain efficient removal of multiple airborne contaminants.

Grease filters gradually collect airborne oil particles produced during cooking. As deposits become thicker, airflow resistance increases and extraction performance may slowly decrease. Routine cleaning restores airflow while allowing the filter to continue separating grease effectively. Proper filter maintenance also helps reduce grease reaching internal ventilation components.
