Kitchen cabinets should provide enough clearance for the chimney body, duct connection, and future maintenance access. If cabinets are installed too close to the appliance, removing filters or servicing internal components may become difficult. During installation, technicians verify that cabinet doors open freely without touching the chimney and that maintenance can be performed without dismantling surrounding furniture. Proper spacing also supports better airflow around the appliance.

Using a duct with the correct diameter helps maintain proper airflow from the chimney to the outside. A duct that is smaller than recommended may increase air resistance and reduce extraction efficiency, while an oversized duct may not always provide additional benefits. Installers generally follow the chimney manufacturer's specifications to achieve balanced airflow and reliable performance.
