Professional installers evaluate available ceiling clearance before beginning chimney installation. Decorative chimney ducts, false ceilings and overhead cabinets all influence the final mounting position. Measuring vertical space helps determine whether the selected chimney model fits comfortably while maintaining the recommended installation height. Planning these details in advance reduces unnecessary adjustments during installation and contributes to a cleaner finished appearance.

Long vertical exhaust ducts should be securely supported throughout their length to prevent movement and vibration. Proper supports reduce stress on duct joints while helping maintain a straight airflow path. Well-supported ducting also minimizes noise caused by vibration during blower operation and contributes to reliable long-term ventilation performance.
