The mounting bracket and fixing hardware carry the entire weight of the kitchen chimney throughout its service life. Using anchors that match the wall material helps improve stability and reduces unnecessary vibration. During installation, technicians inspect the condition of the wall before selecting suitable fasteners. Properly installed mounting hardware helps keep the chimney level and secure during everyday cooking.

Long duct sections should be adequately supported to prevent sagging over time. Unsupported ducts may develop unnecessary bends that restrict airflow and increase vibration. During installation, technicians use appropriate supports wherever required to maintain a smooth airflow path from the chimney to the outdoor exhaust. Proper duct support also helps reduce stress on the chimney outlet connection.

Before approving a kitchen chimney installation, homeowners should ask about the recommended installation height, duct diameter, expected duct route, electrical requirements, mounting method, future maintenance access and warranty coverage for the installation work. Understanding these details helps set realistic expectations and ensures that the completed installation supports both performance and long-term serviceability. A few minutes of discussion before work begins often prevents unnecessary modifications after installation is complete.
