Efficient ventilation depends on maintaining smooth airflow throughout the complete exhaust path. From the grease filters to the blower, through the duct and finally to the outdoor vent, every section should minimize unnecessary resistance. Proper duct routing and secure joints help preserve airflow while supporting reliable smoke extraction during both light and heavy cooking sessions.

The blower performs most efficiently when air moves freely through the filters and exhaust duct. Dirty filters or restricted ducting increase resistance, requiring the motor to work harder to maintain airflow. Routine maintenance supports smoother blower operation and helps preserve consistent smoke extraction during daily kitchen use.
