Long-term chimney performance depends on consistent maintenance rather than occasional deep cleaning alone. Keeping filters clean, monitoring airflow, inspecting duct connections, checking mounting stability, and arranging professional servicing when recommended all contribute to reliable operation. A preventive approach helps maintain efficient smoke extraction, supports cleaner kitchen conditions, and allows the appliance to perform consistently throughout its service life.

A professional kitchen chimney installation follows a systematic process rather than simply mounting the appliance on the wall. Technicians begin by inspecting the kitchen layout, measuring the cooktop position, checking cabinet clearance, identifying the most suitable duct route, and verifying electrical availability. After marking the mounting points, they securely fix the brackets, install the chimney body, connect the exhaust duct, complete electrical connections, and perform functional testing. A structured installation process helps ensure that the chimney remains stable, extracts smoke efficiently, and is easier to maintain in the future. Completing every installation step carefully also reduces the possibility of repeat visits caused by avoidable installation errors.
IFB kitchen chimney Installation in Jadavpur typically costs between ₹799 and ₹2499, depending on your chimney model, mounting type, and duct length. You get a 90-day warranty on the install work itself — if something related to our service goes wrong, we come back and fix it at no extra charge.

The motor rotates a blower wheel that generates negative pressure inside the chimney housing. This pressure difference draws smoke and cooking fumes through the filters before directing them into the exhaust duct. As filters become dirty or ducts become restricted, the motor must overcome greater resistance to maintain airflow. Keeping the air path clean allows the motor to operate more efficiently while maintaining consistent smoke extraction during cooking.
