Before a kitchen chimney installation begins, homeowners can make the process smoother by clearing the cooking area and ensuring that the wall around the cooktop is easily accessible. Any decorative shelves, hanging utensils, or movable appliances that obstruct the installation space should be temporarily removed. Technicians also require safe access to a nearby electrical outlet and enough working space to measure, drill, and mount the chimney securely. Proper preparation helps reduce installation time and allows technicians to complete alignment, duct routing, and electrical checks more efficiently. It also minimizes the possibility of accidental damage to surrounding kitchen items during installation.

Before drilling begins, technicians inspect the wall for hidden electrical wiring, plumbing lines, tile condition, and structural strength. This inspection helps determine the most suitable fixing points while reducing the risk of accidental damage. Choosing appropriate anchors based on the wall material supports long-term installation stability and allows the chimney to remain securely mounted during daily operation.
Most Kaff installation jobs in Dunlop land between ₹799 and ₹2499 — island chimneys and longer duct runs sit at the higher end, simple wall-mounted units at the lower end. You get a 90-day warranty on the install work itself — if something related to our service goes wrong, we come back and fix it at no extra charge.
Safety checks — secure mounting, ducting seal, and electrical connection — are part of every install job, not an optional add-on.

As part of routine servicing, technicians visually inspect accessible electrical cables and connectors for signs of wear, looseness, or damage. Maintaining secure electrical connections supports safe operation and helps identify potential issues before they affect the appliance's performance.
