Every minute a kitchen chimney operates, it removes a portion of indoor air together with smoke, grease particles and cooking odours. Fresh air must naturally replace the exhausted air for the ventilation system to remain effective. If replacement air is restricted, suction efficiency may gradually decrease even when the chimney itself is functioning correctly. Maintaining natural ventilation through suitable openings helps support balanced airflow and consistent smoke extraction during everyday cooking.

Comprehensive inspection provides a clearer understanding of overall performance than checking individual components separately. This approach supports reliable smoke extraction and consistent long-term operation.
