After installation or maintenance, technicians operate the chimney at multiple fan speeds to verify airflow through the complete ventilation system. Confirming proper airflow helps ensure that filters, blower, ducting and electrical controls are functioning together correctly before the appliance is returned to normal use.
Inspection of grease build-up and filter condition
Baffle/mesh filter removal and deep degreasing
Motor housing and duct-mouth cleaning
Auto-clean function check (if applicable)
Filter refitting and suction test
Final wipe-down and odour check
Professional servicing examines the entire airflow path from the intake area beneath the chimney to the outdoor exhaust outlet. Filters, blower performance, duct condition, electrical controls and mounting stability are evaluated together rather than individually. This comprehensive inspection helps maintain efficient smoke extraction and supports reliable long-term operation.
Most Livpure cleaning jobs in Jadavpur land between ₹499 and ₹1499 — island chimneys and longer duct runs sit at the higher end, simple wall-mounted units at the lower end. If the clean work fails within 90 days, the return visit to Jadavpur is free — no debate about whether it's covered.
Safety checks — secure mounting, ducting seal, and electrical connection — are part of every clean job, not an optional add-on.

Cross ventilation occurs when fresh air enters the kitchen from one side while warm air exits through another opening. This natural air movement can support kitchen chimney performance when balanced correctly. Excessively strong crosswinds, however, may temporarily alter smoke movement around the cooktop. Proper chimney positioning, suitable installation height and controlled airflow help maintain effective smoke capture under different ventilation conditions.
