Reliable kitchen chimney performance depends on the combination of correct installation, routine cleaning and periodic professional inspection. Clean filters support unrestricted airflow, secure ducting maintains efficient ventilation and regular inspections help identify developing issues before they become significant. Looking after the complete ventilation system rather than individual parts helps maintain cleaner kitchen air, dependable extraction performance and consistent operation throughout the appliance's service life.

Smoke generated during cooking does not rise in a perfectly straight line. It spreads outward while mixing with hot air, steam and airborne grease particles. Ceiling fans, open windows and room ventilation can also change its direction. A properly installed kitchen chimney creates a controlled airflow above the cooktop that intercepts these rising fumes before they disperse throughout the room. Understanding smoke movement helps explain why installation position and chimney width are both important for effective extraction.
Most Livpure installation jobs in Jadavpur land between ₹799 and ₹2499 — island chimneys and longer duct runs sit at the higher end, simple wall-mounted units at the lower end. If the install work fails within 90 days, the return visit to Jadavpur is free — no debate about whether it's covered.
Safety checks — secure mounting, ducting seal, and electrical connection — are part of every install job, not an optional add-on.

During extended cooking sessions, the blower operates continuously to maintain airflow above the cooktop. Stable airflow depends on unrestricted filters, properly connected ducting and adequate replacement air entering the kitchen. If any part of the ventilation path becomes restricted, smoke removal efficiency may gradually decrease. Routine maintenance helps preserve stable airflow during everyday cooking activities.
