A kitchen chimney functions as a complete ventilation system in which every component contributes to smoke removal. Proper installation establishes efficient airflow, grease filters protect internal parts, the blower maintains air movement and the exhaust duct safely removes cooking fumes outdoors. Regular maintenance helps preserve the performance of each component, supporting cleaner indoor air, reduced grease accumulation and dependable long-term operation.

The width of a kitchen chimney plays an important role in capturing smoke efficiently. A chimney that is at least as wide as the cooktop provides a larger capture area for rising smoke, steam and grease particles. When the cooking surface extends beyond the intake area, some fumes may escape before reaching the filters. Selecting an appropriately sized chimney during installation helps improve extraction efficiency while supporting cleaner indoor air.
Expect to pay roughly ₹799–₹2499 for Prestige chimney install in Chitpur. A minimum inspection fee of ₹350 applies if you decide not to proceed after the visit — this is adjusted against the final bill if you go ahead. All install work carries a 90-day SharkCool service warranty, covering workmanship on the job performed.
Safety checks — secure mounting, ducting seal, and electrical connection — are part of every install job, not an optional add-on.

After installation or maintenance, technicians verify mounting stability, blower operation, electrical controls, lighting, airflow and visible duct connections. Completing these final inspections helps confirm that the ventilation system operates correctly before the service is concluded. Comprehensive testing also provides an opportunity to correct minor adjustments immediately if required.
