A professional installation involves much more than attaching the appliance to the wall. Technicians evaluate wall strength, cabinet clearance, electrical supply, mounting height, duct routing, outlet position, airflow restrictions and accessibility for future maintenance. After installation they verify lighting, fan operation, vibration levels and airflow before completing the job. Looking at the chimney as a complete ventilation system rather than an individual appliance helps ensure dependable performance, easier servicing and effective smoke removal throughout its service life.

Kitchen chimneys operate most effectively when installed within the height range recommended by the manufacturer. If the appliance is mounted too high above the cooktop, smoke may spread before reaching the intake area. If installed too low, excessive heat may affect the appliance and reduce cooking convenience. Professional installers carefully measure the recommended height before mounting the chimney to balance efficient smoke capture with safe operation.

Before mounting a kitchen chimney, installers measure cabinet depth to ensure the appliance aligns correctly with the cooktop. Cabinets that extend too far forward may interfere with airflow or reduce maintenance access. Accurate measurements help position the chimney so that smoke enters the intake area efficiently while maintaining an attractive appearance within the kitchen.
